In 2015, Hope for Children will partner with an innovative new restaurant in Ethiopia’s capital, Addis Ababa, to provide world-class hospitality and tourism training for at-risk young people in a professional, cheerful setting with the best cuisine in town.

Based on a similar and hugely successful Cambodian initiative, Friends International, this social enterprise will support young Ethiopians to break the cycle of poverty and find employment in their country’s growing tourism sector.

It will also provide visitors with an opportunity to engage with, and support, the local community.

Hope for Children aims to enroll at least 150 young people in the program over the next three years, with plans to extend opportunities to many more young Ethiopians who are struggling to access training that translates to real employment.
